Just a note to let you know how happy we are that we decided on you
and DFW Sterling to build our pool. We absolutely love our new pool. In determining who would build our pool, we researched many companies in the area to compare quality and price. D/FW Sterling was the last one we researched and we are very glad we included them. Greg provided information we asked for during the decision-making process and advised us about various products available. He appeared more interested in giving us helpful information than on selling us extra features. Best of all, there was no pressure, just information. We explained our vision of a pool and Greg designed it. Greg and Stan were always available to us from the time we signed the contract until long after the pool was finished. D/FW Sterling Pools did an amazing job from start to finish. Greg's exceptional level of customer service began the moment I contacted him. During the planning stages, he listened to my ideas and concerns and designed a pool that made us happy. He and Stan personally managed the project on a daily basis. Greg's sense of urgency is unbelievable and unfortunately, not common in the service industry today. In September /October of 2001 we had four pool builders bid for our pool in Coppell. We chose D/FW Sterling Pools. D/FW Sterling Pools was significantly less expensive (about 15%). They use the same reputable contractors and dealers as the other pool contractors. The owners are the salesmen and they maintain the same standard of excellence as the most reputable pool dealers in the metroplex. Greg, I received your announcement for your new website. I thought Iíd lend my experience with D/FW Sterling Pools for your visitors. We decided to have a pool installed late last year and actually had 5 companies to come by for advice and estimates. While most of the companies had reference lists (we checked them all) your list had the most satisfied and enthusiastic customers. From the beginning you were honest and forthcoming, listened to what we wanted, did not try to up-sell (as a couple of others did), and said that you and Stan would be here for every step in the process. You lived up to our expectations and more. Both you and Stan were very enjoyable and explained the installation thoroughly. One of your references stated that you responded well after completion for questions or service issues. When we had over 3 inches of rain in September our pool flooded with dirt and compost from the landscaping. This was unforeseeable, caused by the drainage of the open field behind our house, and quite a mess. I called you on Saturday and you were here on Monday, after the rain stopped, and drained and washed the pool for us. The next step you took was to bring in a load of dirt and build up the area behind our fence to prevent a reoccurrence. We are very happy with our pool and we'd be honored to receive any calls for reference for D/FW Sterling Pools. Greg, D/FW Sterling Pools was our choice for building our pool because when we were expressing our thoughts and ideas on what our first pool should look like, they listened. Of the 6 pool builders that we talked with only D/FW Sterling Pools was willing to work with us to get the pool we dreamed of for the price we were able to afford. Greg was there every step of the way to answer our questions and make the process of building a pool for the first time as stress free as possible. Greg: Jim and I would be happy to provide our comments about our "pool experience". After we decided we wanted a pool, I guess we started by asking our friends and family about their pools. We looked in the phone book and started making calls to different companies. One of the most important things to us is responsiveness. There were so many companies that just didn't call back or waited for days. DFW called back immediately to book an appointment at our convenience. I remember when you first came to our home. You were very patient with all of our questions. You had a book of pictures of previous installations as well as provided a detailed list of former customers. You were very honest and open about price and made some very good suggestions regarding important upgrades and safety features. You didn't pressure us for a decision like some of the other companies did. Allot of pool companies were twice if not 3 times more expensive. The big showrooms are nice but I prefer to pay for my pool not their huge overhead costs. Once construction began, you were always there. We were concerned when that extremely large backhoe came through the opening of our new fence. All went as you said it would, no problems at all. Through all stages when we had questions, you answered our concerns. Having a child, safety was a big concern. When we wanted to get the rock edging you suggested another product. The rock, although beautiful, had very sharp edges and not a good idea for kids in a pool. That was a life saving suggestion! We have never regretted that change. At the last minute, when we decided on a tile change you didn't seem to mind. Always willing to be flexible. Then, at last, the pool was completed on time and within budget.
